Well, a 2 star experience coming from a 5+ star hotel chain. Totally disappointing I must say. The food was tasteless and presentation was pathetic. The basem*nt parking area is dark,stingy and ill maintained. The lifts are not in a proper working condition and make a lot of sound. The rooms lack central heating and cooling which is a blunder keeping in mind the tariffs they are charging. The staff though courteous isn’t properly trained. Huge improvements need to be made by the hotel.

One of the best property in Chandigarh. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The forest view from the rooms are unique. buffet is good but very limited menu. Room dining and other services are customer friendly. The atmosphere is great and ground staffs are very friendly. Reasonable price compared to other star properties.The only discomfort is the plug points in the rooms are very old multi pin type. It’s not user friendly to access.

Very run down property. Needs a quick make over. The housekeeping is quite shabby. After checkin the room was still very dirty, the toilet was smelling. Had to call up and request twice to get the room serviced again. They eventually got it done.The hotel says they have a 24/7 coffee shop, went for a night cap at about midnight. Was made to sit by a steward and after 5 minutes a senior steward came to say that the place is closed and we can only do coffee as Room Service. So had to leave and on my way out saw the steward removing the 24/7 sign.The extra star I have is for the breakfast which was decent. Otherwise not much of a 5 star property as advertised

The food quality is poor and Exorbitantly expensive, and the service in the dining restaurants on the ground floor as well as the first floor is way beyond lazy. If you have a chapati you’ll have to request for another one and wait for it for 10 mnts and request for it at least three times so….A sandwich would cost u 900 but really poor quality .Would suggest skipping this hotel if food service is important to u.

Went to The Lalit to attend a marriage function. Was totally disappointed with the quality of food searved. The marriage function was in the last week of November, so it is clear that the weather was cold. However, the snacks and other food items were also served cold. The bread served with dinner were no exception and the overall taste of the dinner items were bland at best.

Punjabi hospitality it’s its best!The quality or food was great, the ambience is awesome and the people are some of the best..The place is located next to a beautiful natural forest… and it generally about 3 degree lower than in the Citi…The place offers large landscaped gardens and ampleAnd more space for parking.

Room was large but had a wall for a view. When you have a sanctuary besides your property, why would you design a wall to block that green view. Extreme disappointment because of the room/floor design.Breakfast was above average but nothing exceptional. The basem*nt parking is a blessing in disguise. You can directly reach your car via the elevator.First hotel I have seen that charges Rs. 200 for valet parking even for resident guests.

I visited to Lalit Chandigarh with my family. We have booked the services before visit to here.Once we reached to this hotel, they dealt with us very well. Parking was nice & easy to park. They have lot of space for parking.Manager deal with us & handle very respectfully. They were polite as well.Staff was very polite & supportive. They guide us to choose the best food. We ordered the food & received very quickly. They served the food very well.List of sweet dishes was very impressive. We ate a special sweet dish.Golden Soup & Fresh Fruit Platter was best.I am highly recommended to all that visit in this place & enjoy this place.

Very quite and decent place to stay in Chandigarh. Really nice and warming staff at the hotel Amit is one of them really stood out of all staff to accommodate us at the buffet breakfast. Really appreciative gesture towards guest. 5 star rating to Amit for his attentive and good service.

The customer service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who went out of their way to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and hassle-free.Although the rates at the Hotel were on the higher side, I felt that the value was definitely there given the quality of the amenities and services provided. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient stay in the city.

Tried the Brunch out here with family, The food simply the myth that Prestigious food chains don't have good fast food, the pani puri, dahi balls , aloo tikki were just too good to be framed in words.Pros were the on1. Time food ,2. Polite, cooperative and skilled staff3. A perfect ambiance for dining ,4. Dedicated kids play area ,5. The fresh and delicious food which catered to each pallete.Cons were1. Unavailability of diaper changing station in the restrooms , it was really problematic for us to manage without it, and being a prestigious place, I would suggest you to please add it.2. Compared to other prestigious places of equal stature , options in the buffet can be increasedOverall A Good experience and would definitely visit again.

Luxury with in budget...that all I can say.. property is huge n spacious staff and service is good upto the industry standard. Got the complimentary breakfast😄.. I am happy and recommend you to stay n enjoy .

Such a terrible service. I would have given 0 stars to this so called 5 star hotel. We had such high expectations from the hotel but it all went down the doldrums from the very beginning. We were welcomed by mosquitos in the lobby area instead of the staff, had to wait more than 2 and a half hours for our luggage to be moved into our rooms. No refills on tea, coffee in room, no minibar or information about why it wasn’t there and absolutely no information about where we would get the menu from. Whatever we asked for, we had to call the reception at least 3 times and wait a good amount of time to get it. We requested for fresh utensils, and the bell boy “asked” us to get the dirty dishes first to him before giving us the fresh ones. And the breakfast experience was not great either-the waiting staff were mostly arguing amongst themselves continuously instead of serving us with food and drinks. Cleanliness was generally absent from the hotel. The cherry on top was when we complained this to the Operations Manager, Rahul, when checking out, he simply did not offer any rebate, or future offers or any compensation of any sort. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL…BETTER STAY AT BUDGET HOTELS, OR EVEN LODGES AND SAVE YOUR MONEY… you might receive better service there.

The rooms are beautifully conceptualized in wooden look and very spacious property... The view is amazing..Being one of the prestigious business hotels, Lalit has never disappointed in its services. Very well maintained, well behaved staff at breakfast, great ambience, astonishing view, well maintained rooms and delicious menu! Anytime recommended.

We chose The Lalit for buffet dinner to celebrate our SILVER ANNIVERSARY. A special area was reserved for us and it was specially decorated. We were warmly greeted and were served in a pleasing manner. The ambience was superb and quality of food was excellent. We really enjoyed and we are planning to visit again. One can plan any celebrations here and the staff will definitely extend all hospitality.

Good overall experience. But there is scope of improvement in room amenities and services. Location is very good, strategically located in IT Park Chandigarh which makes it first choice especially for people visiting any companies in IT Park Chandigarh

The staff was very professional and helpful, very nice Rooms with hill view. the restaurant had a nice ambience, breakfast spread was very nice, i liked the live tea counter, serving tea in small tea glass nice idea, pool was very well maintained and pool attendant was very professional overall. Overall I had a nice stay.
