Hopefully that game ends any complacency about the title being in the bag. Infuriatingly wasteful.

Our fans - not all, but loads I've seen this week on various platforms - have gotten way, way ahead of themselves. I wanted today to be a walk in the park, but if any good comes of it (other than the result itself) it will hopefully ground everybody. Nothing's won, and we could still end the season trophy-less.

The Huns are in a worse state and may lose tommorow. A win in a cup semi is all that matters

You should be on the Celtic board with that attitude

O'Riley said after the match that the pitch was very dry, and made controlling the ball difficult.

Which is exactly as was intended.

And it’ll be the same, or worse, for the final.

It's ok, I live near Hampden and am planning a barbecue for Final day

Scales and Taylor were dire. Yang is never Celtic class. I doubt he’d get a game for the Sheep.

It is really really poor that we have so many poor players who are regular starters.

Regardless of what happens, Brendan has a big rebuilding job to do in the summer.

Yang lacks the physicality needed for this country.
Could probably do a job elsewhere but unless he’s deadlifting all summer it’ll never happen for him here
Taylor can mix it fine, he’s just pish, same as Scales. Teams press CCV to make him pass to Scales and let him have it to invariably lose it. It’s very easy to defend against.

Obviously issues that need worked on but at the end of the day we're in the final and that's all that matters.

Gutted Hart missed that penalty, would have been utter pandemonium

I really didn't anticipate Aberdeen putting three goals past us at Hampden. I was more than surprised by the effort they put into the game and they deserve credit for it. But as many have suggested - based on our performance today - the league is far from a certainty. That's even with sevco's recent stumble. We play like that against Killie or Hearts and we'll likely drop points. So, we do need that one final push - well six pushes in fact - but we just cannot afford the mistakes made today including this trend of a poor first forty-five. On a more positive note - great to see Jamsey get his goal. His quality and experience are going to be invaluable for us in these next six games.

When it went to pens I was convinced we were finished due to our inability to score pens. Full marks to the guys, everyone bar big Joe hit perfect spot kicks and Joe redeemed himself with the save at the end... Phew

A performance that fills you with dread for the run in. Couldn't watch the pens (I never do).
Special shout to the steward outside who shouted ' ahh ffs Hart just hit the post with the last pen and eff us" thought we lost at that point.

Even better was the celtic fan who stood at the sheep fans exit and proclaimed to shout 'get it right up everyone of you" as they came out Kerrydale Street-Celtic v Aberdeen - Post Match Thread || FT: 3-3 (Kuhn, Forrest, O'Riley). Three pages in to this and am laughing my arse off. How on earth can anyone have been confident of the league being over, even before this cup game is beyond me. Staggered to be honest.

Said before, I'll be surprised if we win the four non Derby league games left. Honestly think we are unreliable, inconsistent and flatter to deceive, just as much as sevco.

And this game made me even more uncertain about the league Kerrydale Street-Celtic v Aberdeen - Post Match Thread || FT: 3-3 (Kuhn, Forrest, O'Riley). Celtic win 6-5 on penalties. (4) We were poor from the outset. Miovski outmuscled CCV who had a below average day at the office. Aberdeen fought very well and frankly overran the midfield. This might be down to MacGregor being well off the pace and should never have started. MOR was interesting, seemed often to be playing deep with MacGregor leaving a semi fit Hatate fully stranded.

Attack was disjointed, poor support for Kyogo who did well despite what folk said on here for the goal, outmuscled a centre half but was slowed up and lost a bit of control (but defender did well). Disappointed in Yang, wish he'd get his form back from before Hearts. Kühn improved in parts.

We are incredibly poor at closing out games. We need to clear our lines better block crosses more frequently AND become able to win defensive headers? Appalling in this day and age to lose the same goal twice in short succession. Iwata and Forrest made significant improvements.

How Nawrocki doesn't start is beyond me? Scales must have photos of Rodgers with a goat.

Penalties were good mostly. And tbf, Hart tried to do the right thing and hit the side netting. His calm demeaner was reassuring also, shame he wasn't with the team. He almost got to two which he mistimed the dive.

Anyone who was thinking this was league over is naive, blind, stupid and or on drugs.

We probably on the balance of play should have won it long before it went anywhere near penalties , and that was with us not playing as well as we can . Fair play to Aberdeen , they’ve had a shampoo season and they had a bit of a go and were close to getting their reward . Must have been a great game for the neutrals to watch , if not for us . Still it’s job done and after a pretty ordinary season for us ,based on the last 2 seasons , we’re now set up lovely for a wee double .

This match finished at 3.30pm three hours after kicking off at 12.30. It's absolutely ridiculous the amount of time it takes to complete games these days. 120 minutes of play leaves one hour for half time, injury time and the penalty shoot out.
Came on to the site at 2.30 expecting the game to have finished and we were still playing. Extra time from 2.35, tuned in here just before 3.15, saw we were 3-2 up but still playing. Must be F/T surely! Went and had a pish fully expecting that when I got back and refreshed the page it would still have 3-2 but with FT in the headline. Changed to 3-3. FFS! Hoping against hope their equaliser would be ruled out by VAR (many a time you see a score just updated only to be reset because of VAR). Nerves totally shattered by this stage.

It happens sometimes and unfortunately all too frequently with this team.

We're in the final and I'm confident we'll win it.

We'll just have enough to win the league too and this season will have been salvaged from the potential bin fire it could have been.

It's a stark reminder of the lack of quality and depth in this squad and that might be no bad thing.

Winning in that style will be an absolute sickener for lots of people which is delicious.

I couldn't watch the penalty shootout. I now can't watch us against the huns either. It's now after half-five and I'm still not recovered from the stress. This team is shortening my life - I feel like a f*ckin eejit.

That game was our season in microcosm - one half utterly abominable, some great goals, some awful defending, some of our star players posted missing, some of our duffers proving yet again they should be nowhere near a first-team place in a crucial game. My only consolation is that I've seen some awful semi-final turkeys turn into beautiful cup-winning swans in the final.

We have six more games of this to go. I'm not sure I'll make it.
