OSRS Agility Guide (2024) - U7BUY Blog (2024)

Agility, one of the eight members-only skills and arguably one of the most useful skills in the game. But the caveat is that getting to a high agility skill level is going to be a marathon-level feat and will test even the most veteran OSRS players.

The good news is Agility is if you’ve got the right information, it can take off a lot of the burden of figuring out what to do to get your Agility level up to speed. So today, we’re diving deep and showcasing our OSRS Agility Training Guide to help you get from Lvl 1 – Lvl 99.

But if you’d prefer not to go through the hectic and exhaustive Agility training, then check out U7BUY OSRS accountsfor sale with high Agility characters!

What is Agility Used for in OSRS?

Before you start investing your time into Agility training OSRS, it’s a good idea to understand what Agility is used for. Besides being a prerequisite skill for some Quests, Agility also increases your run energy restoration rate.

Run energy is used whenever you ‘run’ in the game and having a higher Agility skill level will increase how fast it regenerates. This allows you to be more agile and get around more quickly, not having to wait as long for your run energy to charge up.

We should note that this does not include reducing how fast the run energy drains, but only how fast it charges up.

Additionally, there’s another big reason why the Agility skill is important; shortcuts.

Agility allows you to use incredibly useful shortcuts that you’ll find in OSRS, from scaling cliffsides, using rope swings, crawling through crevices, and many more possible shortcuts. This saves you a big chunk of time, giving you an alternate route to reach your destination.

OSRS Mark of Grace & The Graceful Outfit

Another reason to train Agility in OSRS is because of the Graceful Outfit.

This can only be attained by using ‘Mark of Grace’ which you’ll find scattered around Agility training courses. Unfortunately, Mark of Grace OSRS is an untradeable item so even if you buy OSRS gold, you can’t get it on the Grand Exchange.

Think of the ‘Graceful Outfit’ as a trophy to showcase your hard work in the Agility training OSRS courses. The reason the Graceful Outfit is so sought after is thanks to its effects.

The Graceful outfit is a weight-reducing gear with each piece providing you +3 – +4% increased run energy regen rate. In addition, wearing the entire set will provide an additional 10% run energy regen rate, giving you a massive 30% bonus for how fast run energy is restored.

Beginner Level Agility Training OSRS

For the first portion of our OSRS Agility training guide, we’re focusing on getting Lvl 1 Agility players to Level ~30 as quickly as possible. But contrary to what you may expect, we’re not hitting the set Agility training areas or courses just yet.

Instead, you should focus on completing a few Quests that reward you Agility EXP which will be much faster than completing laps at any of the training areas or courses, especially at the beginning of your Agility leveling journey.

Here are some Quests you can complete in OSRS to get you to around Lvl ~30 – ~40 Agility depending on how many you complete:

  • Recruitment Drive
  • Underground Pass
  • The Fremennik Trials
  • The Grand Tree
  • The Tourist Trap
  • The Depths of Despair

Some of these quests have an Agility level requirement, such as The Grand Tree quest which needs at least Agility Lvl 25. Complete the quests without any Agility requirements first before tackling quests with requirements.

Alternatively, you can hit up the Gnome Stronghold Agility Course or the Shayzien Basic course to get started before moving on to higher-level Agility courses. But considering the repetitive & time-consuming laps needed to gain Agility EXP, for starters, doing Quests that reward Agility EXP will be faster.

Reaching 99 Agility in Old School Runescape

With that out of the way, here’s our OSRS Agility training circuit you can follow to reach level 99 Agility. Be warned, this is going to take a lot of time and effort, with continuous and vigorous clicking of your mouse to ensure you don’t fail obstacles.

Additionally, you’ll need to bring some items and food since you will fail obstacles at times which will reduce your HP, and running out of run energy will make the grinding process even longer. Bring Stamina Potions, Agility boost items, and HP regen items.

Keep that in mind and check out the laps and XP gained per hour to see if leveling Agility is really what you’re after:

Level 10 – 30: Draynor Village Rooftop Course

If you prefer not to do the Quests, then go to the Gnome Stronghold course and reach level 10 Agility. Then head to the Draynor Village Rooftop Course which nets you around ~9000 exp per hour.

To reach level 30 from level 10, it’ll take you 102 laps.

Level 30 – 40: Varrock Rooftop Course

Next, head over to the Varrock Rooftop Course to finish the grind to Level 40 Agility. If everything goes well, you can earn around 14,000 EXP per hour. Approximately, this requires around 101 laps, with each lap lasting approximately ~1 minute 10 seconds.

Level 40 – 50: Canifis Rooftop Course

Now head on over to the Canifis Rooftop course until you’re about LVL 50. Additionally, the Canifis course is also one of the most fruitful for Mark of Grace OSRS farming at a mid-level Agility and you can stay here until Level 60 if required.

In an hour, you can expect a little under 20,000 Agility XP depending on your performance.

Level 50 – 60: Falador Rooftop Course

At the Falador course, you can earn up to 35,000 EXP per hour and requires ~295 laps to get you to Level 60 from Level 50. Once you reach level 66, you will not fail any of the obstacles on the course.

Level 60 – 70/80: Seers’ Village Rooftop Course

Moving on to level 70/80, you should head over to the Seers’ Village course where you can gain 45,000 EXP per hour. But if you complete the ‘hard tier’ of the Kandarian Diary, you can earn up to 58,900 EXP per hour. Completing the Kandarian Diary gives you access to the Seers’ Village Bank Teleport, which speeds up the grind.

Level 80 – 99: Relleka Rooftop Course

For the last leg of the training course, the Relleka course is your best bet. You can earn around up to 65,000 EXP/hour and will require a staggering 4,308 laps at max EXP per hour to level up to 90.

Once you hit 90, you can head over to the Hallowed Sepulchre which dishes out around 81,000 EXP/hour. You can also go to the Hallowed Sepulchre and train Agility there earlier, at around Level 52 but since the last level requires an Agility Level of 92, it’s best to finish grinding at another course before diving into the Hallowed Sepulcre.
