New NILU Hypercar Boasts It Will Go Back To The Future With 1,000 Bhp. Nilu27, a newly established hypercar brand founded by famed sports car designer Sasha Selipanov, has revealed the 1,000+ horsepower NILU hypercar. The NILU hypercar is a bold departure from current industry trends, deliberately eschewing electrification and digitalisation to take customers back to what the company describes as a "raw, unfiltered, uncensored driving experience”. Inspired by 1960s Formula 1 and Le Mans racers, classic Italian design, American muscle cars, and even avant-garde metal music, the NILU's design is both eclectic and original. Sasha Selipanov, reflecting on the creation of the NILU, stated, “My path in the industry has never been about following rules and sticking to norms”. “I was never afraid to follow my intuition or chase my dreams. Breaking conventions is simply a byproduct”. “The same is true for NILU – a hypercar that discards current trends and conventions in pursuit of an elevated automotive experience”. The NILU, which will be produced in a limited run of just 15 units, features a bespoke carbon fiber monocoque chassis with lightweight aluminum-alloy tubular subframes. Ferguson Police Chief Troy Doyle will release body camera footage from a protest that turned violent on the 10th anniversary of the death of Michael Brown, resulting in a life-threatening brain injury to a Black police officer, police said. Doyle and other leaders will speak at a news conference Tuesday in the Missouri town that became synonymous with the national Black Lives Matter movement after Michael Brown was killed by a Ferguson police officer on Aug. 9, 2014. Doyle is expected to provide an update on the investigation of the violence and an update on Officer Travis Brown 's condition.

A former central Kansas police chief who led a raid last year on a weekly newspaper has been charged with felony obstruction of justice and is accused of persuading a potential witness for an investigation into his conduct of withholding information from authorities. The single charge against former Marion Police Chief Gideon Cody alleges that he knowingly or intentionally influenced the witness to withhold information on the day of the raid of the Marion County Record and the home of its publisher or sometime within the following six days. The charge was filed Monday in state district court in Marion County and is not more specific about Cody's alleged conduct.
