Day spa

Warm rooms & suites in an upscale boutique hotel with a restaurant, an outdoor pool & a spa.

One of the best in Vientiane. Service sometimes needs a bit of training (and laundry needs more attention) but the quiet lush gardens and impeccable rooms and setting are quite something. An oasis in the middle of Vientiane. Breakfast is really good and the restaurant as well. Came back twice in 2023. Still my favorite!

Bad experience with the new cafe in the hotel, best experience with hotel and hotel staff. So this was the second time for us here in Green park hotel, on the first day and the second day everything went well until the last day.I went out for a walk in the morning and I came back with my local friend, we decided to have a drink at the cafe unexpectedly the staff from the cafe came to us and said, we are closed today, so we went to have a coffee somewhere else.We came back and we saw my boyfriend was sitting and having his breakfast in that cafe, I went to ask the same staff why you didn’t serve us? But why my boyfriend can have his breakfast!! Staff said I don’t know you are the guest and he hasn’t been told that I’m a guest here! (At least he should ask me) I told him, I’m the guest here and this is my third day already, and he DID NOT APOLOGIZE AT ALL, he just said, NO ONE TELL ME THAT YOU ARE A GUEST, of course, I went to complain at the front desk, cafe staff came after me and complained to hotel staffs “he hasn’t been told!”So the rest is, hotel staff came to apologize to me from time to time but the staff from the cafe was staring at me and was talking to another guy who is always at the hotel( I think should be partner) such a bad moment ever!I’m an easy person if he can just say “sorry” that's all.

Rustic style, well kept. Extremely quiet, but just 5-minute walk to upscale shopping centers. 25-minute / 1.5 km / 1 mile walk to Thai consulate. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is unlimited with both buffet and a la carte options. Pool is comfortable for some laps and chilling.

Awesome location! Next to the newly built Parkson Plaza and night food street. The hotel staff were super kind, had great communication skills and very helpful. The rooms were fairly clean, large with hot water and AC. The garden is really nice and complimentary breakfast was one of the best, all of their food were very good. Honestly, a hidden gem in the area.

Nice place, with a lovely garden. The rooms are large and comfortable but the bathrooms are really old and uncomfortable. We also found several bugs but the worst thing was finding previous guests' underwear under the sink. The staff is quite cold and unempathetic and did nothing to remedy this inconvenience, even charging us the entire half day for a late check-out. I also recommend that you do not turn to them for any cabs to and from the airport because they charge more than expected.

We stayed as a couple for just one night in room type super king deluxe. As we had only one day, we left our bags and rushed off to explore and only got back to the hotel late at night. After a tiring day, we were really looking forward to a good nights rest. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was not working and I woke up in the middle of the nigh hot and sweaty. It was too late to call the reception. When I took up this matter the next day, the staff said they would get it checked. Later Mr Jericson at the reception confirmed that the air conditioner was indeed not working. I informed him that we had paid good money to stay at this hotel and this was unacceptable. He said that he would inform the manager Mr Don about this and who would refund the money to my card.I have not heard from them since inspite of emails written directly to the manager.I understand they have a regular issue with their air-conditioning and even overheard a lady complaining about the aircon at check in.I do not recommend staying at this hotel which is a shame as it is in a quite location and close to the centre.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!Beautiful hotel but completely neglected (see photos)! ⚠️We wanted to treat ourselves to a pleasant night in a beautiful hotel in the city (it is the most expensive hotel we have paid for in our two months of travel) for our honeymoon and our stay was just DISASTEROUS from start to finish. To start with, we were coldly greeted by the reception staff, who are very young and speak very little English, only telling us to pay directly for our room. We hear another customer complaining about a problem with the pool.We then went to our room, which was quite pretty at first glance, until we looked a little closer: the cleaning was ABSOLUTELY NOT done, there were dead insects and dust near the furniture, all the objects and wooden furniture were damaged (see photos), there were marks on the walls, limescale marks and an abandoned toothbrush in the bathroom, the bathroom products are almost empty. I wanted to take the hotel slippers before realizing that they were dirty and used. A shame! We then went to the swimming pool (which is the main attraction since it is located in the middle of all the rooms), which was not accessible due to maintenance apparently carried out the same morning (see photo). We go to complain to the reception desk (where we are only told that the water has turned green) and finally ask to speak to a manager. We wait 40 minutes for a return, but no one comes to see us, the staff just watch us from afar. We return to the reception desk and the young people present seem lost, saying first that the manager is sick, then that he is finally not available. They refuse to let us speak to him even by phone. There follows a misunderstanding about what they are offering us in exchange: they offer to reimburse us for the night in full and give us the choice of staying or not at the hotel. After going back to our room, they contact us by phone and we tell them to keep our room, not having the energy to look for another hotel. When we go back through the reception to leave, they call out to us and finally tell us, very embarrassed, that if they reimburse us, we must nevertheless leave. We are furious with the management and let them know that we will sleep well on site as we had been offered. The next morning, we were more than disappointed with the breakfast, which is one of the worst of all the hotels we have ever stayed in in our entire life. There is very little choice, everything is in tiny portions and there is nothing local. We don't even understand how all the customers can be fed. Again, the staff in charge are very young. We finally think, in view of the other comments in particular, that no one really manages this hotel where the minimum is done to continue to welcome customers. We have slept in small country guesthouses much better than this expensive hotel (while we were in low season)! Choose another place if you want to have a good time!

I recently stayed at the Green Park Boutique Hotel in Vientiane and had a mixed experience. The hotel has many commendable aspects but also areas that could benefit from improvement. The room decor was aesthetically pleasing, and the rooms were spacious, providing a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel is ideally located, within walking distance of shopping malls, making it convenient for guests to explore the area. However, there were a few issues during my stay. The bedroom had an unpleasant smell, likely due to the wooden fixtures and the rainy season. Regular use of a dehumidifier could significantly improve this situation. There were also moderate clogs in the washbasin and mild clogs in the bathtub, which were inconvenient and should be addressed promptly. The dining room service was inconsistent. The staff often forgot our requests, necessitating repeated reminders. On one occasion, we had to go to the counter to get what we needed. Additionally, there is no designated smoking area, so if you choose to sit outside, you will be in close proximity to smokers. Inside, there are only two tables for two people, forcing those who want to sit inside to occupy a table for at least four if those smaller tables are full.Another concern was food safety. The dining area doors were frequently left open, attracting a noticeable amount of fruit flies to the food, which could pose health risks. The laundry prices are displayed in USD, but charges are made in LAK, which ends up being more expensive after conversion. Payment in USD is not accepted, even if you have USD in cash or cards. Rooms near the pool can be quite noisy due to children playing in the morning and evening. Additionally, the internet was intermittently slow and sometimes completely unusable. While the Green Park Boutique Hotel has its charms, addressing these issues could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

Would recommend to anyone visiting Vientiane. Beautiful, small and tranquil hotel with the most delightful and helpful staff (shout out to the wonderful Minh). Great pool and probably the best chef in Vientiane. We've stayed twice and the very high standards were maintained

Facilities are very good prepared, swimming pool is vert enjoyable and the staff supports you the whole time. Menu restaurant is a bit more expensive than average Laos but it’s unferstandable, they have good european options, qlso breakfast is good. After several days on the move ir was a very nice break. Gym facilities are enough. They can support with airport transfer for 120kip. Rooms are not extrey new but very clean and well mantained

Positive point:- the reception looks nice though that is not where I spend most of my time when staying somewhere- staff is smilly though seems highly incompetent (I ordered once a vegetable fried rice to be brought to my room, and since it had not turned up 50mins later, I went to get it myself and the waitress admitted he had forgotten to send my order to the kitchen, but didn’t miss to charge me service charge though I ended up bringing my plate to my room myself. Anyway not the hospitality I am used to being French.Negative points:- breakfast: the self service area is often empty and you have to remind them all the time to add some fruits, some bread, some juice…You can also order from the menu, which is nice, but only if you don’t have to remind them where is my order (been waiting for 20mins), wrong order often get sent to your table, item on the menu cannot be ordered because they are missing ingredients such as bananas! Yes bananas, though you can find them at every street corner, during our 6 days stay we had 3 days with no bananas.- dinner: there is a menu but often you cannot order it because they don’t have the ingredients in the kitchen.- cleanless of the room: the room was very very dirty when we got it and though we mentioned it to them and they came to clean it again, it was not appropriately clean and I will never stay there again. See picture of me wiping the floor with the tissue and the outcome of it.It is very important for the manager/owner of this hotel to be aware of this and do something about it because the hotel looks nice on paper, but made us feel like we wasted money and in the end didn’t have the pleasant stay we were meant to be having.

Had 5 lovely nights here. Great gardens and nice pool surrounded by well established trees. You'd never know you were in city. Restaurant food and service very friendly, with good choice of food. Near shopping centre with supermarket. Short tuk tuk rides from most of Vientiane's sites worth visiting. Only problem was our shower was oddly placed at end of bath and difficult to use!

At first I was impressed with the look of the premises and and the friendliness of the staff. We had prepaid for 4 rooms and extra beds for 2 of the 4 rooms. We indicated which rooms required the extra beds, and a crib. They ended up sending 3 extra beds unknowingly. They forgot the crib which we had to ask for again. In the end there was huge miscommunication and they charged us for the extra bed we did not ask for, but was sent to one of our rooms. We asked for a refund and the manager Jericson made it extremely difficult to get the refund and made us wait a very long time when we had stated that we had to leave very soon to catch our flight. He ended up walking away to talk to his boss, told us that there’s nothing that he would do for us. I asked to speak yo his boss directly and instead of putting him on the line he ended up walking away and made us wait even longer. Eventually he came back and gave the refund but after dealing with this issue for almost an hour. If a mistake is made by an establishment, you would hope that they would take accountability and fix it right away, but this was not the case. The aesthetics are definitely much better than the service here.
